Tolerating the expression of views one finds reprehensible is the very core of free speech; a policy of “approved views only” (approved by whom, exactly?) renders the very concept null and void. Judging from this article, it seems that she brings valuable experience and insight to bear on this issue, and that her students are lucky to have her as a professor.
