You have hard working employees and lazy entitled employees. Doesn’t speaking in a negative unprofessional way go both ways? From reading the article, these specific employees we’re clearly not going to be satisfied until dismissal of the “manager”. If we all thought this way then the college would be left with no employees and managers after the first strike, which isn’t fair at all. No one at Wellesley College should be in fear of losing their jobs. Did anyone get hurt? Were the police involved? You do not have to do anything while you are on your break but talking to someone all of a sudden became illegal? Language barrier? How did anyone get hired if they can not comprehend to read and speak English? We are in a country full of different people from all walks of life but using language as an excuse? Please! You can use a smartphone, order from McDonalds, and even read road signs. How are the staff in “fear” of speaking up? They went to the media! It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to put nicknames from this article to faces. What about the other employees at Stone Davis? What about the other employees at the other Dining Halls? What about the actual Manager? Did anyone reach out to them and ask for their opinions and side of the story? We, as employees of the college get paid pretty damn well compared to the rest of the world and yet adults can still not act like adults and talk it through in a civil manner.
